These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Mohamed Ariff Abdul Rahim, an individual developer operating as “Tiger Math” (“Tiger Math,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your download, purchase, and use of the Tiger Math mobile and desktop application (the “App”) and the website at tigermath.app (the “Site”). Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By downloading, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not download or use the App.

1. Who may use Tiger Math

Tiger Math is an educational app for children ages 6–12, and it is intended to be downloaded, purchased, and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).

• If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the App.
• By agreeing to these Terms, a parent or guardian confirms that they are of legal age and have the authority to enter into this agreement for themselves and for any child who uses the App.
• No account, login, sign-up, or registration is required to use the App.

2. Licence to use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to download and use the App on devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial family use or for ordinary classroom and homeschool educational use, in accordance with the usage rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play (each, a “Store”).

We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the App that are not expressly granted to you in these Terms.

3. Purchases: Lifetime access and optional subscriptions

Tiger Math offers a free version with a generous daily allowance of practice. To unlock the premium features, we offer a one-time “Lifetime” purchase, and we may also offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions. The plans available to you, and their prices, are shown in the App at the time of purchase.

• One-time Lifetime purchase. The Lifetime purchase is a single payment that unlocks the included premium features. The Lifetime purchase itself has no recurring fee and no automatic renewal — you will never be charged again for it.
• What “Lifetime” means. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the Tiger Math product and service — that is, for as long as the App remains available and is reasonably supported on your platform. It does not refer to the natural lifetime of any person, and it is not a guarantee that the App will be offered indefinitely (see Section 11).
• One purchase covers your household. A single Lifetime purchase unlocks premium access for up to five (5) child profiles in your family — there is no per-child charge.
• Optional subscriptions. We may also offer auto-renewing monthly or annual subscriptions as a lower-cost way to begin. A subscription unlocks the same premium features for as long as it remains active and is subject to the auto-renewal and cancellation terms in Section 4.
• Tied to your Store account. Your purchase is linked to the Apple ID or Google account used to buy it, subject to that Store’s family-sharing and re-download rules. You can restore an eligible purchase on other devices signed in to the same account using the “Restore Purchases” option in the App.

4. Payment, refunds, and cancellations

All purchases are processed by the Store (Apple App Store or Google Play), not by us. We do not receive, see, or store your payment card or billing details.

• Prices are shown in the App and at the Store and may vary by region, currency, and applicable taxes. The Store displays the final price for your confirmation before any purchase is completed.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions. If you choose an auto-renewing subscription, it renews automatically at the then-current price through your Store account at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy the related purchase, and the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
• Refunds and cancellations are handled by the Store under its own policies. For Apple, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, use the Google Play refund process in your account. We cannot directly issue Store refunds, but we are happy to help where we can — contact us using the details below.
• Nothing in this section limits any statutory refund, cancellation, or withdrawal rights you may have under the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

5. Updates and changes to features

We may update, add, change, or remove features of the App from time to time, including in the free version, and we may release new versions. We aim to keep the premium features you have paid for available to you, but the specific content, exercises, and presentation may evolve as we improve the App.

6. Acceptable use

When using Tiger Math, you agree that you will not:

• copy, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the App, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or attempt to derive its source code, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
• remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App’s purchase, licensing, or security features; or
• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm a child.

7. Intellectual property

The App and its contents — including the Tiger Math name and logo, the tiger character, graphics, illustrations, audio, text, exercises, and software — are owned by Tiger Math or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the licence granted in Section 2, these Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

8. Educational content — no guarantee of results

Tiger Math is an educational tool intended to support, not replace, schooling, parental guidance, or professional instruction. While we design our content carefully, we do not warrant that it is free of errors or suitable for every learner, and we do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, grade, or result. You are responsible for deciding whether the App is appropriate for your child.

9. Children’s safety and privacy

Protecting children is central to how Tiger Math is built. The App contains no third-party advertising and has no open chat, messaging, or user-to-user features. Optional analytics and crash diagnostics require a grown-up’s consent and are described in the Privacy Policy. Outbound links on the App (for example, to a Store or to this Site) are intended to be placed behind a parental gate. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Apple App Store — additional terms

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, the following terms also apply, and they prevail over any conflicting terms in this agreement to the extent of the conflict:

• These Terms are concluded between you and Tiger Math only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Your licence to use the App is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Tiger Math, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) you paid for the App; otherwise, any warranty is the sole responsibility of Tiger Math.
• Tiger Math, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• Tiger Math, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the App, or your use of it, infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights.
• You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the applicable Google Play policies.

11. Disclaimers

The App and Site are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available indefinitely. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App, the Site, or these Terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us, through the Store, for the App in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, in connection with your use of the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection laws.

13. Suspension and termination

This licence applies until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, please stop using the App.

15. Governing law and your local rights

Tiger Math is offered to families worldwide. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence — those rights always apply and prevail over anything inconsistent in these Terms.

Your purchase is also governed by the terms and policies of the Store through which you bought it, including its billing and refund rules. We comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including its provisions for children, wherever they apply.

If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled under the laws and by the courts of the country in which you reside, to the extent those laws so require.
